Our Story

Choices is a West Midlands based social enterprise dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable adults through trauma‑informed, evidence‑based personal development. We design and deliver programmes that rebuild confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and create clear pathways into education, training, and sustainable employment.

Founded in 2025 through lived experience, Choices was created by someone who understands first‑hand what it feels like to be overshadowed by your past, no matter how much work you put into changing your life. After serving over a decade in prison and completing more than 30 rehabilitative and personal development courses, our founder still faced the harsh reality of release: that despite doing everything “right”, you must work twice as hard, not only to avoid reoffending and make the right choices, but to build a life that reflects who you’ve become, not where you’ve been.

Choices was born from that reality: From the determination to break cycles, challenge stigma, and create a pathway that genuinely supports people who want to change but are navigating barriers that most never see.
